Joseph W. Hudgens

Joe Hudgens graduated from University of South Carolina Law School in 1954. He served as the judicial law clerk for two Chief Justices of the South Carolina Supreme Court, Claude Taylor and Joseph R. Moss (1966-1968). He was director of the Greenville County Legal Services Agency from 1969-1973.
Joe excels in helping clients solve difficult legal issues in areas of real estate, construction and probate law. As counsel for many years for the school board, the county hospital, several municipalities, and the county water and sewer authority, Joe also has expertise in school, health care and local government issues. With 40 years' experience as a lawyer, Joe frequently counsels clients on complex business matters. He is frequently asked to serve as a special referee/judge in non-jury cases. His practice involves litigation in state and federal courts.
